About University of Huddersfield

Factsheet about: University of Huddersfield

Please provide us with a short blurb about the university.

At Huddersfield, you’ll be taught by some of the best lecturers in the UK. The University is number one in England for the proportion of staff with teaching qualifications (HEFCE, Dec 2016). We have been recognised as a gold-rated University by the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

We're unique in the fact that all our permanent teaching staff have, or are completing, doctorates. This expertise, together with our teaching credentials, means that students here learn from knowledgeable and well-qualified teachers and academics who are at the forefront of their subject area. It’s all part of our ongoing drive for teaching excellence, which helps our students to achieve great things too.

We’ve invested over £100m in buildings and facilities in our campus in the past decade to provide a modern, vibrant and accessible learning environment.
